🤖 AI: Hunter Horsley (CEO of Bitwise Investments) believes the integration of AI and cryptography/blockchains is predicted to have a significant impact in two key areas: (1) authenticating content amidst an explosion of creation and (2) enabling autonomous AI agents to transact and store information securely. This convergence of technologies is expected to elevate the importance of crypto as AI continues to advance
💵 Finance: Worldcoin, the decentralized open-source protocol, has successfully raised $115 million in a Series C funding round led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from a16z, Bain Capital Crypto, and Distributed Global. The funding round was facilitated by Tools for Humanity, the team behind Worldcoin, and co-founded by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI
Spencer Bogart (General Partner at Blockchain Capital) shared his thoughts on Worldcoin and why Blockchain Capital led the latest financing
🎮 Gaming: Sloan shared an article discussing NVIDIA's latest AI NPC technology, known as the NVIDIA Avatar Cloud Engine ("ACE"). This groundbreaking technology empowers in-game non-player characters (NPCs) with AI-driven natural language interactions, taking gaming experiences to new heights of immersion and realism
Tyler Matses expressed his excitement for the potential of ACE technology in revolutionizing game progression systems, which will enhance immersion and reduce static obstacles, ultimately leading to decreased player churn

Summer Internship, Web3 Policy (Solana Foundation - Full-Time): The Solana Foundation is looking for a web3 policy intern to support every aspect of that strategy–from digging into how legislation impacts these goals to identifying constituents from the Solana ecosystem who can articulate their story well in front of policymakers
Full Stack Developer (FWB - Part-time): is looking for a high-energy and skilled full-stack developer with a passion for pushing the envelope to take the lead on ensuring that FWB’s digital landscape is maintained and cultivated well over time.
